Green Island was first sighted by Captain Cook in 1770, but he could not have imagined how beautiful the view would be flying at just 500 feet above the breath taking waters surrounding this idyllic tropical island.

Green Island is just 10 minutes by air in one of Cairns Seaplanes fleet of 7 seat “Beaver” aircraft. Your Fly & Sky Day Tour starts out with an early morning flight from Cairns before gently touching down and for two hours, indulging in snorkeling, exploring or just settling back and relaxing at the luxurious Green Island Resort before the day visitors arrive.

Upon your return to Cairns we’ll transfer you for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before taking you by car to Skyrail for a 7km journey above the tropical rainforest canopy to Kuranda. In Kuranda you’ll be able to browse through the many local markets before boarding the Kuranda Scenic Railway for a 1 hour 25 minute journey past waterfalls and through the rainforest to arrive at the Freshwater station. Here again, our courtesy car will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation or directly to the airport.

Departing from the Cairns Pier this breathtaking 30 minute scenic flight takes in views over Cairns and Trinity Inlet as well as the amazingly clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef stretching on to the horizon, before returning to Cairns.
